Rules and conditional logic

Rules that keep every design buildable

Real products have parts that only fit together in certain ways. Rules let you describe that once, so buyers never reach a combination your workshop cannot make.

Conditions on any answer

A rule starts with a condition: an answer is picked, is not picked, is one of a list, or a text field is filled. Combine conditions with all, any and not. Conditions can point at questions before or after the one they affect.

Four actions

Hide a question, hide a single answer, force an answer, or set a different price for an answer while the condition holds. A typical example: when the buyer picks a bundle, the engraving inside it costs half.

One engine, two places

The rule engine exists in JavaScript for the storefront and checkout, and in PHP for the backend. Both run the same shared test fixtures and must produce exactly the same result, so the order your workshop sees always matches the preview the buyer saw.

Caught before publishing

Rules that keep switching each other back and forth, or point at answers that no longer exist, are reported when you publish instead of surfacing as a broken page.
