Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms govern your use of Moddify Studio, a Shopify app operated by Moddify Tech Sp. z o.o., Wrocław, Poland (KRS 0001186085, NIP 8943265466, REGON 542315847) ("we", "us"). By installing the app on your Shopify store you agree to these terms.
What the app does
Moddify Studio lets you build product customizers, show them on your store as a step-by-step builder, price configured products at checkout through a Shopify Cart Transform function, and attach the buyer's design and production data to orders. It also offers a read-only REST API for your own systems.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the customizers you publish: the options, prices, production codes and rules, and for checking them before you publish.
- You own the images and content you upload and must have the right to use them.
- You are responsible for producing and delivering the products your buyers order, and for your own terms of sale toward buyers.
- If you allow buyers to type text or upload images, you are responsible for reviewing that content before you produce it.
- You keep your API tokens secret and revoke any token you think was exposed.
- You use the app in line with Shopify's terms and applicable law.
Pricing integrity
The app computes prices from your published customizer and re-checks them on every new order, tagging orders where the paid price does not match. You should review tagged orders before fulfilling them. We are not responsible for losses caused by prices you configured incorrectly.
Plans and billing
The app has a free plan and paid plans billed monthly through Shopify's app billing. Paid plans include a free trial. Current prices and limits are shown on the pricing page and in the app. We never charge a percentage of your sales. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next billing period after the notice.
Features marked "coming soon"
Features marked as coming soon on this website are planned but not available yet. They are not part of what you pay for until they are released, and release dates may change.
Service availability
We work to keep the app available and the builder fast, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The storefront builder is designed to keep working for buyers if our backend is briefly unavailable, but some features, such as saving designs, may not.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify Admin. Your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for use that breaks these terms or Shopify's policies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top shows the last update. For significant changes we notify merchants in the app or by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer or business protections in your country are not affected.
