Pricing questions
Do you charge a percentage of sales?
No, on any plan. You pay the monthly price and nothing else, however much your configured products sell for.
How does billing work?
Through Shopify. The charge appears on your Shopify invoice, and you can change or cancel your plan from the app at any time.
Is there a yearly plan?
Yes. Every paid plan can be billed once a year for the price of ten months, so two months are free. You choose monthly or yearly when you pick the plan in the app.
What happens after the free trial?
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. If you keep the plan after the trial, Shopify bills you monthly or yearly, as you chose. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
What counts as a customized order?
An order with at least one line created by a Moddify Studio builder. Orders without a configured product do not count.
What does "coming soon" mean on a plan?
The feature is planned and will be part of that plan, but it is not available yet. We list it so you know where it will land. Check the changelog for what has shipped.
Do I need Shopify Plus?
No. Moddify Studio works on every Shopify plan. Plus stores get one cart line at the exact price; other plans get a bundle of the base product and its priced parts. Both charge the same amount.
