Production data and orders
Orders your workshop can build without asking
The label a buyer sees and the code your workshop needs are rarely the same thing. Moddify Studio keeps both, and puts the production side on every order automatically.
Production codes per answer
Give each answer a production code: a part number, a SKU, a bin location. It defaults to the linked variant SKU. Orders list the codes in question order next to the buyer-facing summary, so nobody has to translate "Midnight blue, matte" into a part number.
Designs frozen at order time
Each configured line is linked to a saved design. When the order is placed, the design is frozen together with the customizer version it came from. Editing the customizer next week never changes what an old order says.
Design images and production sheets
Our server renders every ordered design: one image per view plus a thumbnail, stacked exactly like the preview, with the buyer's text and pictures in their print areas. Print a production sheet for one order or a whole batch: design images, production codes, text and uploads, one page per item.
Orders and uploads in one place
The Orders page lists every customized order with filters by customizer, answer, date and order name, and exports to CSV. Each order shows the renders, codes and the original uploads to download. Turn on upload review and orders wait with a cm-upload-pending tag until you approve or reject each picture.
Order rules
When an order contains a particular answer, add a tag. Express assembly, gift wrap, a rush fee: whatever needs to stand out in your order list or trigger a Shopify Flow. Rules work across all customizers by question key and answer.

The order gets a moddify.designs metafield with the summary, production data and image links of every configured line, and the cart line carries a readable summary that you choose: none, one short line or one line per option.
